At AJS Plastering we’ve been fitting bathrooms across Oldham, Manchester and beyond for over 30 years. What we take care of
We handle everything from removing your old suite right through to tiling, plastering and decoration. Every bathroom is different, but typically our work includes stripping out the old bathroom, fixing walls and floors, setting pipework and electrics, tanking and tiling, fitting the new suite, and finishing with plastering, decorating and a full tidy-up.
How the job usually runs
Every project starts with a visit to measure up and go over your ideas. From there we’ll give you a clear quote and timeline. On the job itself, we strip out the old bathroom, fix any walls or floors that need attention, and set pipework and electrics where they need to be. Then comes the tanking and tiling, followed by fitting the new suite. Finally, we plaster, decorate and tidy everything up before handing it back to you.
Timescales
- Small cloakrooms: 2–3 days.
- Standard bathroom refits: around a week.
- Larger wet rooms: up to 10 days.
We’ll always agree timescales with you before we start so there are no surprises. Keep the room well ventilated, clean with gentle products, and reseal edges every so often in high-use areas. We’ll give you tips when the job’s complete.
